Financial Analyst

What you will be doing:

• Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.)
• Assisting in budget construction for next financial cycle for the entire company
• Use financial data to understand any risks or opportunities to the business and make recommendations to the business for improvements/actively resolve issues
• Creates financial models for different scenarios
• Participate in the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business - and corporate-wide objectives
• Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to actively ensure financial analysis needs are met
• Provides analytics to business initiatives for the company

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor Degree in Economics (Accounting/Finance preferred)
• Additional certificates ( MBA, ACCA)/courses, etc. related to the job would be considered a valuable asset
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in financial analysis/controlling
• Knowledge and ability to use the International Financial Reporting Standards and National Accounting Standards
• Knowledge in Financial analysis and modelling
• Functional knowledge in reporting tools – MS Office (advanced Excel skills)
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Romanian and Russian – including English to a fluent level
