We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience in automated end-to-end (E2E) UI testing to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our Marketplace applications (Admin, Vendor, Client). You will collaborate closely with the development team and Product Owner to define testing strategies, create test cases, and implement automated tests using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.

What You’ll Do:
  • Collaborate with the development team and Product Owner to define testing strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria for new features
  • Develop and maintain automated end-to-end UI tests using Playwright (JavaScript; TypeScript experience is a plus)
  • Ensure that test coverage meets project requirements and proactively identify areas requiring additional testing
  • Contribute to integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Monitor test results, troubleshoot issues related to script failures, and resolve environment or integration problems
  • Track test execution results, manage defects, and report coverage metrics.
  • Communicate test results, risks, and product quality assessments to the team and stakeholders
  • Participate in all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and work closely with the engineering team to clarify requirements, resolve defects, and ensure timely delivery of features
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and bug reports
  • Contribute to improving testing processes, frameworks, and best practices to enhance product quality
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA, with a focus on automated E2E testing (Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (TypeScript experience is a plus)
  • Experience with tools like TestRail, Qase, or similar (experience in selecting and implementing a test management tool is an advantage)
  • Basic experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
  • Comfortable working in a Scrum/Agile environment, including daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies
  • Ability to create clear and concise test documentation (test plans, test cases, and bug reports)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams
  • Good written English skills are essential.
